As the Member Service Assistant, you provide clerical and administrative support to the Member Services Department. In addition, you perform beginning to intermediate level donor database activities including gift processing, data query and analysis, customer service, volunteer coordination, other fundraising activities, and event support. You play a significant role in ensuring the accurate financial accounting of gifts made to the station and maintaining station member/donor records. As a member of the Membership Team, you play a significant role in accomplishing the goals of the Development Department and the stations.

Two years’ college education, or two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a non-profit organization. Strong customer service skills; comfortable asking for donations over the phone; effective problem solving. Great attention to detail and a desire to work in a team environment required. Experience with Raiser’s Edge data base software preferred. Familiarity with Capital Public Radio and its programs, preferred.
